We have had a lot of fun celebrating Charlie's 1st birthday in the last week. He has had MANY parties, so many that Cate keeps asking "Is Charlie's birthday over yet?" We had several small impromptu parties with family. STATS:

Party with Carter and Cate. Dinner was Charlie's favorites--meatballs, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and cupcake cones--YUMMY! Charlie thinks that his big brother is quite possibly the coolest guy in the world (who doesn't?) and tries his very best to keep up with Cate.
Mason City impromtu party was loads of fun with Cate and cousins Jesse, TJ, Emily and Tim.
Becker party with Craig Alan and Colton. Hickory Park and ice cream cones since Charlie's birthday is close to Papa's and Uncle John. We enjoyed having Papa and Grandma Jane her to celebrate their anniversary and Crystal/Ben and John/Abby to celebrate.
It really is hard to believe that our baby is one year old. He brings such joy to our lives with his smile and fun personality. We love our sweet little boy. Happy Birthday, Chip!
