Trick or Treat!

 

It looks like this mermaid has a crush on this fighter pilot!  Anthony (fighter pilot) and his sister Lauren took Cate to a Trunk or Treat at their school (where she will be going next year) to start off the Halloween fun.

It poured rain all day so we went and bought a pinata for all the kids.  Everyone had a blast!

Turned out that the rain stopped and it was a beautiful night to trick or treat.  Charlie wanted nothing to do with his costume (rocketship) the entire Halloween but these sweet neighbor boys convinced him to go with them for a little bit towards the end of the night.  He thought he was BIG stuff!

A day at the Omaha Zoo

Matt's company had their company outing and picnic today the Omaha Zoo!  The kids had a blast! 

Some of our favorite moments shared with Daddy were...

the polar bear...all the monkeys and gorillas...eating lunch with the sea lions...a real TRAIN...giraffes (always!)...awesome penguins...and lots of fish and sharks!

Cate's first race!

I am not sure why I can't post vertical pictures tonight but wanted to post a couple posts from the Diva Dash.  Aunt Jodi, Mommy and Cate all ran!  Aunt Jodi had an AMAZING race and finished in WAY under 30 minutes getting 3rd in her age group!  Cate got 2nd in the Princess Dash and had lots of fun! 

Carter Trewet conquers Tournament of Champions!

 Congrats Carter!

 We were thrilled for Carter this weekend as he got to play in the Tournament of Champions in Atlantic representing Otter Creek Golf Course.  This has been a dream for Carter since he was a tiny little guy (and for his Dad too!)

 Here is his putt on the 18th green.  His 3 day score was 220.  This put him in the Top 25 which allows him to return to the tournament next year.  Woo hoo!

A very special thanks to his host, Papa, for taking such good care of him all week! The BVR is almost as good as Butler Cabin.

All the aunts/uncles (Lauri, Mike, Mark) watched him tear up the course on Saturday which was a huge support to him.  It was VERY SPECIAL to have them all there.  They were a wonderful motivation...we really appreciate you coming to watch. Mark your calendars for next year! XOXO

Trewet Troop at the Lake

Lots of fun at the Lake of the Ozarks this week.  All 5 of us were able to go for the entire week and really enjoyed every single minute of time there.  The kids were great and the boys got to do most everything on their "must do every year" list. 

There is always lots of fun to be had on the water! Highlights...

Matt: Designated boat driver for wakeboarders and those brave enough to tube.

Carter: AWESOME wakeboarder even went double skiing with Uncle Mike!  

Cate: Prefers bobbing, mostly with Aunt Lisa and Aunt Jodi. She gave tubing a try...once she finally stopped crying she agreed that maybe it was a "scary fun"

Charlie: Always (ALWAYS!) wanted to be driving the boat!

It is always a party with something to celebrate!  This picture was the Trewet originals toasting to the purchase of Condo #101.

 The last night we all went out to eat where a band was playing great tunes.  You can't quite see everyone but every single Trewet left at the lake is dancing in this picture!  GREAT FUN!!!

There was a rain delay until 10 pm so not everyone got to go to the game.  Those of the Becker Ballers that did had a great time celebrating with Jane.  The first night Mom/Dad got to go to the game with Craig Alan and Josiah so almost everyone got a baseball game in!
