Santa has arrived...
Best friends.... Carter is sporting some of his new North Carolina gear.
You can't quite see it but EVERY single present that Cate opened up she expressed EXTREME excitement! It was a riot. We have lots of video of her opening presents. She was more than happy to open presents for everyone else as well!
Cate's big present from Santa was a tricyle.
First sledding event with Tim and Jesse! Lots of fun!
Cate got to have lunch with Santa today. It was all "HO, HO, HO" but she had NO interest in sitting on his lap. We found a compromise...
Cate's cousins Jesse (below) and Tim (next) joined us since they are in town for the weekend.
Cate and her new best friend, Uncle Mike.
WISHING YOU JOY AND LAUGHTER THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!
For Cate's 2nd birthday she got the Trewet Kitchen. This kitchen has been owned by cousins Jessica, Caroline, Emily and now Cate. It is well loved and is just perfect! All day long Cate said "I cook, I cook" and made different foods.
December birthdays...Chance (18 on 12/3) and Cate (2 on 12/4)
Could she be any cuter??? We love our dolly who is growing up so fast...
Josiah, Cate and Colton helping Papa move cows on the farm.
Cate adores her Papa.
Gotta love Aunt Abby!
Lots of love between Cate and Colton (aka "Coco")
Cate and CoraLynn got to take a day trip back to Atlantic. It was a full day of seeing lots of family and making new friends...like Sugar the horse and Icky (named by her dad) the kitten. Cate enjoyed riding the tractor with Papa since combining was done. CoraLynn had a dentist appointment with the best dentist EVER, Dr. Trewet, while Cate played with Grandma Jane. Later in the afternoon we got to see Abby, Craig Alan and Colton who introduced Cate to their kittens and let her ride on Sugar. Cate was a bit cautious, but warmed up to Sugar and LOVED her. She is still talking about it. We finished our day with dinner at the Trewet house and came home...what a wonderful fall day on back on the farm.
Cate, as you can see, was a duck for Halloween. She won "Best Costume" at the Club mostly because she went around quacking to everyone. We had a really fun day and very much enjoyed Ben, Rachel and Sophia joining us to trick or treat. Cate was hilarious going to all our favorite neighbors...she would give them a piece of candy from her pumpkin when she said "trick-o-treat" instead of taking candy. She still says "trick-o-treat" when she wants candy.
