Way behind...getting you caught up

I am way behind with the blog, so as I watch the last quarter of the Hawkeye game tonight I will try to get you caught up with a few fun posts. Most exciting is Carter's last week of high school golf is this coming week. Districts is Tuesday and when they make it to state, they will play for the State Championship Friday and Saturday. GO HAWKS! Carter's biggest fan, Cate talks more and more everyday and constantly entertains us.

Hot Rod Cate

We are WAY behind in posting some pictures and videos of Carter and Cate but I couldn't help but to share this video of Cate tonight. She finally decided to give her Barbie 4-Wheeler a try. :)

Ace and Cate

Happy Summer!

Our summer is off to a great start. The boys have already had one golfing trip to the Ozarks and now we are all heading down there for the annual Trewet trip.

Sweet Cate and UhOh Cate

Smelling sweet flowers in her sweet dress...
Cate's current vocabulary: Dadda, Mama, Carter (with a growl), Ace, Papa, other names that we coach like PoPo, Jodi, Abby...Other words are: "No, no, no" (mostly to Ace), "more", "please" (with sign language), "All done/all done, all done", "uh-huh" (this is new) and her favorite "UH-OH."

While Papa and Grandma Jane were here over Memorial Day (aka Matt Trewet National Holiday/Birthday) weekend Cate had a big Uh-Oh when she ran into the corner of the wall. She recovered quickly and is excited about her new deck and landscaping that is almost finished. Stay tuned for the deck party!

State Co-Ed Golf--SUCCESS!!!

Congrats to the Ankeny Co-Ed Golf Team of Trewet/Wagner!

3rd PLACE FINISH!!!

Carter was trying to impress a girl from Johnston.
(Shhhhh...it is his new girlfriend, Emily!)

Great spring day for Cate and Ace

Cate and Ace enjoyed a wonderful afternoon using their slide today.
